Don't limit this dish to shrimp. Strips of chicken, pork, beef or
scallops are also great.
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
Red pepper flakes to taste
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp. grated fresh gingerroot
1 sweet red pepper, diced
1 cup snow peas
1 1/2 lbs. large shrimp, peeled and de-veined
3 green onions, chopped
Cooked rice or noodles
first 6 ingredients for sauce, mixing until smooth; set
oil in wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic
and ginger. Sauté 1 minute.
pepper and snow peas. Stir-fry 1 minute or until tender crisp.
shrimp. Stir-fry just until shrimps turn pink, about 1 minute.
sauce; cook stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil and
thickens. Stir in green onions. Serve over rice or noodles.
